How has you trainer benefitted your life/ health?
My major goal for this summer was to lose weight and get on track towards a
healthier lifestyle before heading back to school in the fall, and I think
my work with Kat and the Training Floor has undoubtedly been the centerpiece
in fulfilling that goal. I’ve definitely noticed myself slimming down a bit
and I look much better than I did in May, and I think I’m on track to
continue leading a healthier lifestyle.
What were your initial goals and how’s training gotten you progressing
Weight loss and having a healthier diet were my two major goals, and my work
at the Training Floor definitely helped me with both. I lost a decent
amount this summer, and look to make more progress in the months ahead. The
trainers would also check in on what I was eating and gave me a lot of
helpful advice on what to eat and how to help me reach my goals.
What’s your favorite exercise to do with your trainer?
I’ve enjoyed the very unique and interesting exercises like work with the
sledgehammer and pushing cars. It helps keep working out fresh; no two days
at the Training Floor have been the same. I’ve also enjoyed boxing that
I’ve done there, it’s fun while also being a very tough workout.
What’s your favorite meal?
Probably a nice, high-end steak cooked medium-rare.
What would you say to people about the training floor or who never have had
a personal trainer and are considering one?
It really helps being constantly motivated and kept on task. I’ve tried
going to the gym by myself and while I might have some great days, it is
hard to keep myself going. However, at the training floor that is never an
issue and I can’t recommend the training floor enough. It is the best
workout experience I’ve had, hands down.
