New Trainer added to The Training Floor

Colin Walker

Colin is originally from Australia where he has been involved in fitness from a very young age. In high school he competed in rugby, Australian football, soccer and olympic weightlifting. At the age of 19 he won in his weight division the National Power Lifting Championships in Bench Press. A 302 lb Bench press record remained unbroken for 2 years in his home town gym.

He holds multiple certifications including: ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Spinning Instructor, Kick boxing Instructor. His affiliations include: USAT Triathlete and Sound Cyclist Bicycle Club.
As an avid triathlete he has competed in over a dozen triathlons around the country. Colin specializes in combining cardio and strength training within the same workout. His philosophy is that strength training is a must in everyone’s workout program. He believes everyone should focus on increasing their bodies muscle mass, increase metabolism and bone density, reduce body fat and speed up digestion- all key components of achieving and maintaining a healthy and strong body. Colin enjoys 50 mile bike rides on the weekends and open water swimming. A committed father of 4, Colin believes in the necessity of working out on a regular basis at a young age and carrying that philosophy throughout your life.
His personal training style has transformed many lives. His successful Biggest Loser program has a combined weight loss to date of over 800 lbs.
